Our history
Who We Are
Petersfield Squash Club has been part of the Petersfield sporting community for over 50 years. We are a volunteer-run organisation governed by a committee of members, existing solely for the benefit of those who play.
Our base is Taro Leisure Centre in Petersfield, where we hold Club Night every Tuesday and play all our home league matches. We also use Herne Farm Leisure Centre, giving our junior programme two evenings of weekly coaching.
The club is governed by our constitution — written to ensure PSC remains open, fair, and member-led for generations to come.

How we operate
Governance
PSC is governed by a Committee of volunteers — normally eight members — who manage the day-to-day running of the club. The Committee is elected at the Annual General Meeting, with members serving two-year terms.
All income and resources are applied solely toward promoting squash in Petersfield — as set out in the club constitution adopted in 2007.
Aims (from the Constitution)
"To foster, develop and facilitate the game of squash in Petersfield and the surrounding area."
- Provide a forum for friendly and competitive sport
- Arrange competitions at club, county, and national level
- Provide coaching for juniors and adults
- Arrange social and fund-raising events
